A whole lot of myths about Utah women in the labor force still persist. And the facts, in 2010, are that Utah women, unlike women everywhere else in the U.S., still lag behind men in the education they get, and the wage gap is greater as well.
However, just like the rest of the U.S., most women in Utah (including most mothers of pre-school children) work outside the home, because of economic necessity.
