State's first renewable energy summit Slated for Nov. 15

GOED will be producing a Utah Renewable Energy Business Summit to be held November 15, 2010 at the Larry H. Miller Campus of the Salt Lake Community College. The Summit is designed to propel Utah's cluster of renewable energy businesses forward, especially the state's wind energy business, to meet the opportunities available and also create jobs. Further, she says the summit will connect industry, government and academia around renewable energy opportunities, particularly in wind energy manufacturing, and help existing and emerging Utah businesses understand growth opportunities in all aspects of renewable energy: solar, wind, geothermal and energy efficiency.
