Report shows highest number of Utah business deals in four years

Utah businesses enjoyed the highest number of deals in four years, according to a report released by the MountainWest Capitol Network. The MWCN Deal Flow Report showed 149 deals took place among Utah businesses during 2010. Of those deals, 118 were funded by venture capital, angel and seed stage investments, 27 were mergers and acquisitions and four were public offerings. In 2009 there were 126 deals. Deseret News
