Utah’s average of indexes for new orders, production or sales, employment, inventories and delivery lead time was at 57.4 for July, up from 55 in June. The index ranges between 0 and 100, with 50 deemed growth neutral. According to the report, issued Monday, values assigned to various Utah components included new orders, 49.4; production and sales, 58.9; delivery lead time, 58; inventories, 57.3; and employment, 53.3.
