Home and business owners who plan to install wind and solar energy systems can apply for cash rebates through the Utah Office of Energy Development. The office has $1 million available for the rebates and will accept applications through Nov. 15 or whenever the funding runs out. Funded through the federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the program is aimed at stimulating employment and renewable energy. To apply, check the website: www.energy.utah.gov.
