New construction permitting data available for Utah

The Utah Bureau of Economic and Business Research has just updated their construction information database with August 2011 information. You can find this construction permitting data by clicking here.

State of Utah year-to-date figures through August 2011 compared the same period in 2010 show:

• The number of new residential dwelling unit permits is down 2.9 percent.
• The value of the new residential permits is up 1.9 percent.
• New nonresidential permitting values are up a whopping 39.9 percent.
• The total value of construction permits jumped 17 percent.
