U.S. pump hikes end, but gas up in Utah
Gasoline prices nationally have finally dropped after 27 straight days of increases, but Utah’s pump prices continue to climb. In all, average unleaded prices in Utah are up a whopping 39 cents per gallon in just the past month. What happens now with gas prices depends on a variety of factors. Oil prices, a major factor in pump prices, have fallen to their lowest level in about two weeks, while the price of natural gas remained near a 10-year low. Experts predict that gasoline prices will rise over the next several weeks. Salt Lake Tribune
