The report dated 19 September 2013 reflects our unemployment numbers for week-ending 7 September 2013. During this week, 1,678 initial claims were filed in Utah compared to 1,402 the prior week. The numbers listed below are based on the four-week moving average.
- 1,556 initial UI claims filed (increase of 56 from the prior week and decrease of 56 from same week in 2012).
- 12,751 continued UI weeks claimed (decrease of 174 from the prior week and decrease of 738 from same week in 2012).
- 2,643 continued EUC08 weeks claimed (decrease of 23 from the prior week and decrease of 2,473 from the same week in 2012).
