State budget projections show increase

Utah Lawmakers received a bit of good news on Tuesday as they learned that the state budget is on track to come in between $10 million and $110 million above previous projected revenue forecasts. The increase in funds is said to be due to the improving economy but it does not mean the state can go on a spending spree to build buildings or fund programs. Provo Daily Herald
