The report dated 20 September 2012 reflects our unemployment numbers for week-ending 8 September 2012. During this week, 1,655 initial claims were filed in Utah compared to 1,486 the prior week. The numbers listed below are based on the four-week moving average.
- 1,623 initial UI claims filed (increase of 12 from the prior week and decrease of 295 from same week in 2011).
- 13,200 continued UI weeks claimed (decrease of 289 from the prior week and decrease of 5,581 from same week in 2011).
- 4,997 continued EUC08 weeks claimed (decrease of 118 from the prior week and decrease of 7,822 from the same week in 2011).
