YESCO launches new financing arm for sign, lighting projects

YESCO has created a new in-house group to provide financing to its sign and lighting customers.

The Salt Lake City-based company, which remains known by many as the Young Electric Sign Co., said the creation of YESCO Financial Solutions transfers the financial responsibility from the sign making and installation side of the business and puts in place a specialized group to offer additional expertise on leasing and financing to its customers.

YESCO has been leasing signs to its customers since at least 1922.

Tony Hull has been named president of YESCO Financial Solutions. He has joined the family-owned business with a background in banking.

"YESCO’s financing offerings give our customers the ability to manage cash flow," Hull said. "Being able to expense the cost of a sign over time allows a company to preserve precious capital for other purposes."
